NOA BY THE BEACH PROJECT

Little Cove Noosa

Noa By The Beach was truly an accomplishment for all parties involved. With the challenge of a  very tight timeline to complete a considerably sized, high end renovation, this project stood apart from the rest. With three levels, six bedrooms, four bathrooms, media room, lounge, pool, outdoor bbq/fire and entertaining area, this home was designed to cater for high end luxury living. Re-designing and quoting the house three times before start ensured that everything was right for the clients who were corresponding from overseas. Once the project commenced it was full steam ahead for 7 months. While in demolition and construction there were strict restrictions to Noosa’s Little Cove area that made consistent progress no easy task. While keeping some of the bones of the original house, everything was re built and nothing was compromised in order to achieve the end finish that was required. Everything was stripped back and made new again. A mixture of timbers, concrete, steel and alloy were incorporated into the design and contribute to the feel of the home. Original bridge beams from Tasmanian wharfs dating back to pre World War were a must keep, as were the original recycled Oregon rafters used throughout the main level. The house is situated in Little Cove, a stones throw from the famous beaches and backing onto the lush Noosa national park. The open plan living has created a grand open space that allows internal and external living to flow through the entire house. The detailed custom finishes of oak timber seating, floating benches and stairs, curved concrete stairs, custom alloy pivot doors on entry and custom steel add bespoke touches to the space. With our clients overseas, we had to make sure everyone was working well as a team to make sure all targets and ongoing changes were met. Consistent correspondence was a must and proved to be crucial for providing continued client satisfaction. Builder, designer, client, interior designer, and all contractors worked together seamlessly to overcome any obstacles and deliver a beautiful result.
